The Lancer 115V 1/3 HP Chiller 1500 is a high-capacity remote chilling unit designed for under-counter or back-room installation. It utilizes a submerged water bath and a 1/3 HP refrigeration deck to build a thermal ice bank, which ensures that up to 6 independent syrup and water lines are served at a consistent 40°F, even when located 25-50 feet away from the pumps.
What it Solves: This unit is the solution for 'warm-soda' in remote-tower configurations. It removes the heat load from the tower area, resulting in a quieter customer environment while maintaining the thermal mass required for peak-hour serving surges. The 6-circuit design allows for a core brand lineup to be chilled from a single refrigeration source.
Symptoms of Failure: Beverages coming out warm or excessively foamy at the tower, the compressor running continuously without building an ice bank, or finding the water bath 'frozen solid' (bridging), which prevents heat transfer.
