The Lancer 6 valve Cage Assembly 1506 Nested is the internal manifold support and fluid-shaping assembly designed to house brix adjusters and solenoids. It provides the precise structural alignment required for valve plungers to seat perfectly under pressure.
Problem Solved: Corrects manifold-level syrup seepage and ensures stable, leak-free seat for valve plungers. Replaces cages with stripped threads or stress cracks.
Symptoms of Failure: Persistent dripping from nozzles, valves 'wobbling' in their mounting, or visible syrup buildup around the internal ports.
Technician’s Note: Never use pliers to pull the cage assembly; use the integrated pull-tabs. Overtightening screws into the cage can crack the plastic ports, leading to high-pressure leaks.
