- High-Pressure Rated: Precision-machined to safely handle the 800-2000 PSI pressures found in standard beverage gas cylinders.
- Universal Fitment: Features standard 1/4" NPT threading, making it compatible with the majority of commercial primary regulators.
- Corrosion Resistant: The heavy-duty chrome plating protects the underlying brass from oxidation and "greening" in humid cellar conditions.
- Leak-Free Seal: Engineered with a specialized bull-nose tip to provide a perfect metal-to-metal or washer-backed seal with the tank nut.
- Industrial Quality: Forged brass construction provides the structural integrity needed for frequent cylinder swaps and tank handling.
- Easy Maintenance: Smooth chrome finish allows for easy wiping and quick visual inspections for physical damage or wear.

This professional-grade inlet stem is a critical replacement component for primary draught regulators, designed to bridge the connection between the high-pressure gas source and the regulator body. Manufactured from high-tensile forged brass with a mirror-chrome finish, this stem provides superior corrosion resistance in the damp, high-CO2 environments typical of draught cellars and walk-in coolers. Its precision-machined threads and bull-nose seating surface ensure a gas-tight seal, preventing hazardous leaks and ensuring consistent pressure delivery to your kegging system.
- Material: Chrome-Plated Forged Brass
- Inlet Connection: Standard 1/4" NPT Male Thread
- Outlet Interface: Bull-nose design for CGA-320 (CO2) or CGA-580 (Nitrogen) nut compatibility
- Compatibility: Fits most major regulator brands including Micro Matic, Taprite, and Norgren
- Durability: Engineered for high-pressure gas applications up to 3000 PSI
- Finish: High-polish chrome for sanitary maintenance and aesthetics
Technician's Note: When replacing an inlet stem, always use a high-quality food-grade oxygen-safe thread sealant or PTFE tape on the NPT threads entering the regulator body. Be extremely careful not to over-torque the stem into the regulator, as the forged brass can stress-crack the regulator housing if forced. After installation, always perform a "bubble test" using a specialized leak detector solution at the junction to ensure there are no micro-leaks, which are the leading cause of wasted gas cylinders.
