The Lancer Harness Agitator/Carbonator 5/2 FS16 is the primary electrical cabling interface responsible for managing the high-voltage logic for the water bath agitator and the carbonator pump. It ensures synchronized operation to maintain serving temperature and CO2 saturation.
Problem Solved: Eliminates unreliable communication and intermittent firing errors. Replaces wiring rotted by syrup 'wicking' or insulation cracked by refrigeration heat/cold cycles.
Symptoms of Failure: Valves firing randomly without input, 'flat' tasting beverages due to carbonator lag, or display lighting flickering when the agitator motor kicks on.
Technician’s Note: Check for 'green' verdigris corrosion on connector pins. Syrup exposure leads to wicking, which rots the copper from the inside out. Use dielectric grease for protection during the new install.
