Technician’s Note: A 72" hose allows for significant movement; the restraining cable is vital here to protect the gas lines. Install the cable so it stops appliance movement 6 inches before the hose reaches full extension. This protects the SwiveLink fittings and the main gas supply valve from mechanical failure during heavy cleaning.
