Maintenance Tip: Keep the manual ball valve clear of obstructions. In commercial kitchens, grease can accumulate behind equipment; periodically clean the ball valve handle to ensure it can be operated rapidly in an emergency. The restraining cable should be installed with enough slack to prevent stress on the fittings during cleaning movement.
