Technician’s Installation Tip: For any gas hose longer than 48", the included restraining cable kit is not optional—it is a code requirement. Install the cable shorter than the hose to prevent the gas line from ever reaching full extension when the appliance is moved. This protects the SwiveLink fittings and the main gas supply valve from mechanical failure.
