Produced through a proprietary process that limits enzyme activity while maximizing sugar development, it adds a deep golden hue and a complex bready sweetness to the beer. It is a favorite for Blondes, Ambers, and Nut Brown Ales where a distinct "honey" character is desired without using actual fermentable honey.

Brewery Recipe Tip: A little goes a long way with Honey Malt! Use it at 2-5% of the total grist to add a noticeable sweet "punch." Going above 10% can make the beer cloying and overly sweet. Mash at 152°F to preserve the unfermentable sugars that provide that signature mouthfeel.
