The FerMonster Replacement Lid is a essential OEM component for all sizes of FerMonster wide-mouth carboys. This model features a pre-drilled 3/8" center hole designed to accommodate standard #7 rubber stoppers or standard 3-piece and twin-bubble airlocks. Constructed from high-density, food-grade polypropylene, it features a heavy-duty O-ring to ensure a 100% airtight and liquid-tight seal during active fermentation. The wide-mouth design of the carboy makes this lid easy to clean and sanitize between uses.
Fermentation Pro-Tip: To ensure the longest life for your lid and a perfect seal, always apply a light film of food-grade silicone grease (Keg Lube) to the internal O-ring. Use the FerMonster Lid Opener for the best leverage when tightening and removing the lid. Do not over-torque, as the O-ring provides the seal—not the tightness of the threads.
