The T&S Brass B-0546-133XLF15 Dummy Gooseneck is an elite high-hygiene water distribution component designed for professional clinical and laboratory workstations. This unit features a heavy-duty swivel/rigid gooseneck spout that can be locked in a fixed position or allowed to free-swivel for full basin coverage. It is equipped with a 1.5 GPM Laminar Flow device, providing a smooth, non-aerated stream that eliminates splashing and prevents airborne aerosolization—a critical feature for infection control in sterile rooms. Built with a robust 1/2" NPSM male inlet for permanent plumbing integration.
Technician’s Note: Laminar flow outlets are the clinical standard as they do not draw in and disperse contaminated room air. Dummy goosenecks are utilized in systems with remote valves (foot, knee, or electronic). During installation, ensures the mounting shank is anchored firmly beneath the deck to manage the torque of the riser. Polished chrome finish is exceptionally resistant to frequent disinfection with aggressive medical-grade cleaning agents. Always flush building supply lines through the manifold.
