The T&S Brass B-2863 Mixing Faucet is engineered for high-hygiene laboratory and clinical environments requiring absolute backflow protection. Built on standard 8" concealed centers, this unit features a specialized **B-0407-03 Vacuum Breaker Swivel Nozzle**, preventing the back-siphoning of hazardous fluids into the building water supply. It is equipped with 4" Wrist-Action handles for high-hygiene activation and a 2.2 GPM aerator. Constructed from heavy-duty polished chrome-plated brass with reliable Eterna compression cartridges.
Technician’s Note: Vacuum breakers are critical safety devices; periodically inspect the atmospheric vent for weeping. During installation, ensure the concealed bodies are anchored firmly beneath the deck to prevent handle play. The wrist handles promote superior sanitation by eliminating hand contact. Polished chrome finish is exceptionally resistant to aggressive industrial disinfectants and chemical splashes common in research hubs.
