BTF Iodophor is a professional-strength, no-rinse sanitizer used extensively in the brewing and winemaking industries. It utilizes the germicidal power of iodine to eliminate bacteria, yeast, and mold on contact. This low-foaming formula is odorless and tasteless when diluted correctly. Its signature amber color provides a visual indicator of its potency; as long as the solution remains tinted, it is still active and ready to sanitize your equipment.

Sanitation Tip: Mix at a ratio of 1/2 oz per 5 gallons of cold water for a 12.5 ppm concentration. Minimum contact time is 2 minutes. Unlike acid sanitizers, Iodophor is very effective in hard water. Avoid soaking plastic equipment for longer than 24 hours to prevent permanent iodine staining. No rinsing is required after use.
