Briess CBW® Traditional Dark LME is a 100% pure malt extract made from a blend of Base Malt, Munich Malt, 60L Caramel Malt, and Black Malt. This 3.3 lb canister provides a rich, malty foundation with a deep mahogany color and complex notes of coffee and toasted bread. It is the perfect choice for brewing Porters, Stouts, and Brown Ales, offering excellent fermentability and a robust mouthfeel. As a liquid malt extract, it dissolves easily and provides a fresh wort character with every batch.

Brewery Tip: To maximize extraction and prevents scorching, turn off your burner before adding the LME to your strike water. Whisk thoroughly until fully dissolved before restarting the boil. One 3.3 lb can provides approximately 0.024 gravity points per 5 gallons of wort. Store in a cool, dry place; once opened, use immediately to ensures peak freshness.
