Briess CBW® Sparkling Amber DME is a 100% pure malt extract made from a blend of Base Malt, Munich Malt, and 60L Caramel Malt. This 3 lb bag provides a rich, malty foundation with a deep amber color and sweet, biscuity notes. It is perfect for brewing Amber Ales, Red Ales, or Bock styles, offering excellent fermentability and head retention. As a dry malt extract, it has a long shelf life and is easier to handle than liquid alternatives.
Brewery Tip: Amber DME is ideal for "extract-with-grains" brewing. To avoid clumping, whisk the DME into warm water before bringing it to a boil. Use this 3 lb bag to boost the gravity of an all-grain batch or as the primary fermentable for a small-batch Red Ale. Store in an airtight container to prevent moisture absorption.
