Operating at 120V, it is designed to gently raise the temperature of your wort or must by 5-15°F above ambient room temperature, ensuring your yeast remains active and healthy. Constructed from high-durability, moisture-resistant polymer for safe use in the brewery.
Brewery Pro-Tip: For the most precise control, use this heat pad in conjunction with a digital temperature controller (like a Johnson or Inkbird). Place the carboy directly on the pad and tape the controller's probe to the side of the vessel with a layer of insulation. The 11" square size is perfectly optimized for standard 5, 6, and 6.5-gallon glass or plastic carboys. Wipe clean with a damp cloth; do not submerge.
