And you’ll complete your fermentations faster and easier. The Blichmann Engineering™ Spunding Valve is purpose built for homebrewers to control your pressures with exacting precision.
Research by Blichmann Engineering™ and White Labs shows significant reduction of esters (fruity flavors found in most ales) and low levels of diacetyl, by fermenting under pressure.

Pressure guage was shot on delivery. Emailed Blichmann. They sent another. Overall cool valve. Fermenting under pressure is awesome!

I bought a cheap spunding valve first, and you can't get them to hold a specific pressure. This worked great and it is rock solid. I sound the last 5 gravity units and it allows me to do a pressure transfer as well with the ball lock gas in. If you use this with a conical the ss brewtech style PRV is cheap and easy to add since this is not a safety device.
