Accuflex Bev-Flex 172 Series is a premium polyethylene tubing designed for high-purity beverage and liquid food distribution. Featuring a 1/2" internal diameter and a thick 3/4" OD, this tubing is engineered for high-volume flow with excellent burst strength and minimal flavor impact. It is NSF-51 and NSF-61 certified, making it the ideal choice for main water supply lines, soda fountain trunk lines, and commercial brewery transfer systems where flavor integrity and high flow rates are paramount.
Installation Note: Polyethylene is more rigid than vinyl. For the best seal, use John Guest push-fit fittings or ensures your barbs are correctly sized for 1/2" ID. Always use a tube cutter for a perfectly square cut to prevents leaks at the internal O-ring seal. This tubing is 100% flavor-neutral and safe for potable water and beverages. The thick-wall 3/4" OD provides excellent durability in high-traffic commercial environments.
