Sparkling Amber Dry Malt Extract is a 100% pure malt extract produced from a blend of Base Malt and specialized Caramel Malts. This 55 lb bulk bag is the most economical choice for production breweries and high-volume homebrewers. It provides a rich amber color and a complex malty profile with notes of toasted bread and subtle caramel. Ideal for brewing Amber Ales, Red Ales, and Porters, it offers excellent fermentability and a balanced mouthfeel. Brewery Tip: Amber DME is an excellent shortcut for mid-range styles, providing both the base sugars and the specialty grain character in one step. To prevents clumping, whisk the extract into warm strike water before bringing the kettle to a boil. Store the bulk bag in a cool, dry place and ensure it is tightly sealed to prevents hardening due to moisture absorption.
