This adjustable economy-grade worm gear hose clamp provides a versatile and secure tensioning solution for various beverage and gas line diameters. Constructed with a stainless steel band and housing, this clamp is designed for quick installation and adjustment, making it ideal for temporary setups, experimental taproom configurations, or general-purpose brewery maintenance where a range of sizes may be encountered.
- Adjustment Range: 3/8" (min) to 7/8" (max) Diameter
- Material: Stainless Steel Band and Housing
- Mechanism: Slotted Hex Head Worm Gear
- Width: Standard narrow-profile band for use in tight spaces
- Application: Securing vinyl, reinforced braided, or silicone tubing to barbs
Technician's Note: While worm gear clamps offer excellent versatility, take care not to over-tighten them on soft vinyl or silicone tubing. Excessive torque can cause the serrated band to cut into the hose wall. For high-pressure CO2 lines or permanent glycol loops, ensure the clamp is positioned at least 1/8" behind the first barb ridge for the most reliable seal.
