Accuflex Bev-Flex 172 Series is a premium polyethylene tubing designed for high-purity water and beverage applications. Featuring a .265" ID (approx. 1/4") and a .457" OD, this tubing is engineered for high burst strength and minimal flavor impact. The high-visibility blue tracer allows for easy line identification in multi-line draught bundles. It is NSF-51 and NSF-61 certified, making it the ideal choice for soda fountain water supply lines and commercial brewery transfer systems where flavor integrity is paramount.
Installation Note: Polyethylene is more rigid than vinyl. For the best seal, use John Guest push-fit fittings or ensure your barbs are correctly sized for 1/4" ID. Always use a tube cutter for a perfectly square cut to prevent leaks at the internal O-ring seal. The blue tracer identifies this as a potable-grade or gas line for staff.
