The 8" x 4" Concentric Reducer is a professional-grade sanitary fitting designed for large-scale brewery and food processing piping. This butt-weld fitting allows for the smooth transition between 8-inch and 4-inch diameter tubing while maintaining the centerline of the pipe. Constructed from T304 Stainless Steel and polished to a 32Ra finish, it ensures a sanitary flow path that is easy to clean and resistant to corrosion.
Technician's Installation Tip: Use an orbital welder for the most consistent, sanitary welds. Ensure the pipe ends are cut perfectly square and deburred before welding. As a concentric reducer, this fitting is ideal for vertical lines; for horizontal lines, consider an eccentric reducer if you need to prevent liquid trapping (ponding) in the line.
