The Chapman 14 Gallon Univessel is a versatile, dual-purpose vessel designed for both boiling and fermenting in a single container. Constructed from high-quality 304 stainless steel, it is 100% flavor-neutral and exceptionally easy to sanitize. This ported model includes a pre-installed 3-piece stainless steel ball valve for clear transfers and a heavy-duty lid with a silicone gasket for an airtight seal. With a 14-gallon capacity, it is the ideal size for 10-gallon finished batches, providing ample headspace for vigorous boils and active fermentations.
Brewery Setup Tip: To convert from a kettle to a fermenter, simply replace the standard lid plug with the included stopper and airlock. The 3-piece ball valve can be fully disassembled for deep cleaning, ensuring no bacteria is trapped in the valve body. Use the internal volume markers for precise batch sizing. The stainless steel construction is safe for all heat sources including high-output propane burners.
