DigiBoil 35L Distilling Kit - Includes Copper Pot Still Condenser

I have had other set ups but this one was pretty much ready to go. It is always a trial and error but that comes with every boiler. I totally recommend watching all the videos on this boiler and it will make it super easy! A hobby turning into a lifestyle real quick! Thank you Keg Factory for feeding the fun here!

I have not used my new kettle yet but it is very well made and appears to be easy to use.

Overall this is a good still, but not until you fix the major issues it has out of the box. The pipe fitttings are useless, they leak constantly and unfortunately the runoff goes right where your distillate is collected. There are also multiple places that are not airtight, meaning you’re going to lose a lot of your final product during the process. The good news is the problems are fixable, depending on your ingenuity. I used food grade silicone to plug up some of the spots in question and wrapped one of those tube resistance bands around the seal and held it down with some additional clips. Once I finally got everything up to where it should be, it ran lovely. The temperature slowly rises and is very responsive to changes. I wish it came ready to use, had I not had prior experience with distilling, I’m not sure if I could’ve gotten anything out of it.

It's a great kit! It's low-maintenance, and easy to run. My only real regret is not having an easy way to hook up a thumper. My other still is a cheap pot still, literally a pot, that I heat with gas. It leaks and requires a lot of attention. I love that I can start this up in my carport regardless of the weather. I bought a wireless thermometer, so I can sit inside and watch tv while the still heats up. I just have to pop my head out every so often to check on things or swap out the collection jar.
