The Wayland Industries 3" Butterfly Valve with Spring-Return Actuator is a heavy-duty sanitary component for automated brewery and food processing systems. This massive 3-inch valve features a pneumatic canister that is Normally Closed (NC), providing a critical fail-safe that automatically shuts the valve if air pressure is lost. Constructed from 304 stainless steel with high-temperature Silicone seals, it offers a 100% sanitary path for wort and water distribution. Ideal for automated kettle drainage and manifold control.
Technician's Note: This pneumatic valve requires a clean, regulated air supply (approx. 80-100 PSI) and a pilot solenoid for operation. Due to the size of the 3" disc, ensure the line is depressurized before manual overrides to prevent seal damage. The silicone seals are ideal for high-temperature brewing applications. Always use high-quality 3" TC gaskets and clamps for a leak-proof installation.
