It features a 1/2" hose barb and a 1/2" Male Pipe Thread (MPT) in a 90-degree elbow configuration, providing a robust connection that saves space and prevents hose kinking in tight manifold setups. Constructed from food-grade 304 stainless steel, it is 100% flavor-neutral and highly resistant to corrosion from acidic beverages and harsh caustic cleaning agents used in professional brewing.
Technician's Installation Tip: Use high-quality PTFE (Teflon) tape on the 1/2" MPT threads to ensures a liquid-tight seal to your equipment. For the 1/2" barb side, always use a stainless steel worm-gear or Oetiker clamp to secure reinforced hosing. The 90-degree elbow is ideal for pump inlets and kettle outlets where a straight fitting would cause the hose to bulge or kink.
