Unlike standard worm-gear clamps, the Oetiker-style stepless design provides a 360-degree uniform seal with consistent compression, preventing the "bunching" of tubing that causes slow gas leaks. Constructed from high-quality 304 stainless steel, it is resistant to rust and corrosion, making it ideal for the high-moisture environments of kegerators and commercial beverage rooms.
Installation Note: This is a "one-time use" clamp and requires a dedicated Oetiker Pincer Tool to crimp the "ear" for a permanent lock. The 1/2" ID size is specifically engineered for standard 1/2" ID vinyl or poly beverage tubing. To remove, use side cutters to snip the ear and slide the clamp off.
