Sheet Metal Screws

Sheet metal screws fasten duct, plenum and equipment panels without a pilot hole. This range covers self-drilling and self-tapping types with hex, hex washer and hex/slotted heads, in lengths from 1/4 in. to 2 in., mostly #8 and #10 gauge, with zinc-plated finishes throughout.

Pick the point first: a self-drilling point cuts its own hole through heavier gauge without pre-drilling, while a sharp or diamond point sets faster in thin stock. Then pick the pack — these are stocked as singles and in boxes of 100, 250 and 500, so a service van and a fabrication shop can both buy the way they use them.
