PVC cement and primer for solvent welding rigid PVC pipe and fittings — condensate drain lines, pool and turf lines, and general fitting work. Oatey clear, blue Rain-R-Shine, heavy duty and all-weather formulas; DiversiTech Pro-Weld and Pro-Prime; RectorSeal low-VOC Hot 203L and Gene 404L; and ACE fast dry, in 4, 8, 16 and 32 oz brush-top containers.

Primer softens the pipe surface so the cement can fuse it, and many jurisdictions require visibly tinted purple primer on pressure joints so an inspector can confirm it was used.
