HVAC Fuses

A blown fuse is the first thing to check on a dead condenser or air handler. This range covers 1 A through 100 A in 125, 250, 480, 500 and 600 VAC ratings, spanning UL Class RK-5 dual-element, Class CC, Class G and automotive blade types, plus fuse holders and blocks.

Replace on rating, not on size: match the amperage, the voltage rating and the class marked on the fuse you are removing, and keep the time-delay or fast-acting characteristic the same. Time-delay fuses ride out a compressor's inrush current, so substituting a fast-acting fuse of the same amperage will nuisance-trip on start-up.
