This 40-watt flexible heating mat is designed to wrap around your fermenter, providing gentle, even warmth to keep your yeast active in cold environments. It is ideal for maintaining the stable temperatures required for ales, Belgian styles, and kombucha. Unlike immersion heaters, the FermWrap heats the vessel wall, minimizing the risk of "hot spots" and scorching your yeast or wort.
Brewery Setup Tip: For the best results, use the FermWrap in conjunction with a digital temperature controller (like the Inkbird). Tape the temperature probe to the side of the fermenter and cover it with a piece of insulation so it measures the liquid temperature, not the air. Secure the wrap with electrical tape or a bungee cord. It is safe for use on glass, plastic, and stainless steel fermenters.
